Cooking Healthy AND Tasty Dishes!

HANDS ON!! Join this hands on class to learn how to put ’healthy’ and ‘delicious’ in the same sentence! Lydia will guide you in healthier meals with discussions on healthier fats, using spices and herbs, and more. Students will prepare a healthful meal of dishes like Heart Healthy Vegetable Soup; Tomato Dill Soup; Fruity Spinach Salad; Healthy Tuna Sandwich Filling; Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms; and Healthy Fudgy Brownies. Bring an apron and spend a Sunday afternoon learning to cook in a more healthful way!
Cooking 101 For The Experienced And Inexperienced Cook

Cooking is easy and fun when you know the basics and have recipes to follow that are not complicated. Lydia will include many techniques, cooking tricks and short cuts in this hands-on class. No matter if you have cooked for many years or just beginning, she is sure to have you going home ready to cook and save time with new ideas, recipes and information. Chicken salad with cranberries and apples, pie crust that you do not need to roll out-tasty with nuts; chili that is healthy and quick that does not use all the usual ingredients; a sauce that has enough variations that you can use it in many applications are just sampling of what you will find in this class.
Spring Into Spring Via The Mediterranean
Date: Sunday April 27
You won’t need airline tickets for this spring trip to the Mediterranean. A sampling of your evening in the Mediterranean will include Cucumber and Olive Bulgur Salad, Orecchiette with Broccoli Rabe and Chickpeas, Caramelized Blood Oranges & Almond Sundaes, Chicken & Sun Dried Tomato Orzo. You will be making and sampling new recipes and receive a folder of food information, recipes, and more in this tasty hands-on class. TO REGISTER:

Class fees must be paid at time of registration. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and personal checks.
Classes start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and run approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Please allow flexibility to accommodate classes running over the scheduled time.
Waiting lists are taken when a class is full. Waiting lists are typically used if students drop out.
Students of legal age will be offered a sampling of wine if desired during most classes (except Friday Lunch classes). You cannot bring in wine for class.
Please note that food samples are generous. Eating before coming to class is at your discretion.
Students receive a 15% discount the evening of the class on any merchandise, 10% on food and wine and sale-priced items!
If you need to cancel a class, we require 72 hours notice for a refund. No exceptions. You may send someone in your place; please let us know.
All Through the House reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment or emergencies. In the winter, weather may play a part in a cancellation. We will try to reschedule, or offer a refund or credit for a future class.
If a class is full, be sure to leave your name with us on the waiting list. You never know!
Bring friends and get gifts for bringing a friend (they receive a gift for coming too).
All students receive folders of additional information and extra recipes. Several recipes are prepared in each class.
