To clean windows inexpensively, add a small handful of cornstarch to 3 or 4 quarts of water. Wash the windows with this solution and dry with a paper towel. It cleans and dries them faster than store bought cleaning solutions.

To remove grass stains, dab the area with rubbing alcohol or diluted hydrogen peroxide before washing. You and also try putting liquid dishwashing detergent on the stain, let sit for ten minutes then wash, or use Fels-Naptha bar (found in the laundry dept of your grocery store). The Fels Naptha bar method is what I used as my boys grew up and broght the grass inside on their knees. That was the era that white jeans were popular, so grass stains were very visible on them if not removed.
