Garnish Trick

Before placing washed greens or cut veggies or fruit pieces on your serving trays/plates, spray them with cooking/vegetable oil. This will give them a very fresh appearance, enhance the color and preserve their freshness for many hours. Since the oil is etible, the garnish is safe to eat and be in contact with your foods.

Tip: Spray over the sink to save any mess on your tray/plate. You can also apply oil to your hands/plastic gloves and then rub them over your garnish items if you prefer to not use aerosol products.
